Though its a maroon we have named it Kochu Pata. It means a Colocasia leaf. I will tell you today why its named so 20 years back. Ta, Baba and I went for a trek in a hill in Bihar. When we reached the peak after 30 Mins of trekking we thought we have reached a magic land. We saw so many maroon leaves as it had just rained and there was wind, most of the Colocasia leaves (Kochu Pata) were turned upside down. Imagine the wonder when in all greens you see maroon. MAGIC IT WAS and the memory is still so vivid.. here's presenting to you Kochu Pata.. Did the photo shoot as a toast to that.

The mul cotton is what we call ‘made in heaven’ at Suta. Known in West Bengal as mul mul, the fabric is buttery soft and delicately beautiful. The weave of this fabric is very fine, and this lends a very fluid texture to it that makes draping it a breeze. It is truly like a hug that wraps you in its love!
