She was best friends with her petite motor bike. On the road, they had conversations over many cups of chai, enjoyed so many monsoons and summers and everything in between together. Now, their relationship had hit a rough spot. With the pandemic, she wasn’t allowed to venture out anymore, after all.
One fine day though, she said enough is enough and went to visit the bike with a pail full of soapy water. As she scrubbed every bit of it clean with the most joyful smile on her face, the bike shone back, recognizing her masked face!
